Tenwood Lodge is a family-oriented Vacation Home:  family-designed, family-owned and familyoperated. On the rare occasions when the whole house is not rented, Bed and Breakfast by the room or suite may be available for booking a few weeks out.  Built from 10 different wood species, we designed Tenwood Lodge with a talented architect duo to optimize views of our scenic secluded valley.  Located just 12 minutes from downtown Ithaca, NY, in a secluded valley, we regularly encounter wildlife, we see (deer, wild turkey, rabbits, chipmunks, geese, ducks) and hear (coyote, owls) nature nearby.  The distance from light pollution makes stargazing on clear nights an astronomer's delight.

Our primary purpose in building Tenwood was to gather the family.  We encourage you to bring your loved ones to re-connect to each other for a multi-generational family reunion. There is a Roku TV and good wifi, but there are plenty of unplugged options also.  Many enjoy spending time together on the porch with a cup of locally roasted coffee in the morning or a Finger Lakes Riesling in the afternoon. The firepit is available also for additional relaxation.  Winters are cozy by the woodstove and some rooms have lovely radiant floors.

When you're ready, we're under 15 minutes from 1 cidery, 2 Finger Lakes state parks that are "gorges", Ithaca College, and Ithaca Commons.  We are  less than 30 minutes from 3 wineries, the Ithaca Farmer's Market and Cayuga Lake.
