The Seneca Lake Wine Trail is an association of 25 member wineries, located in the Seneca Lake AVA (American Viticultural Area) within the Finger Lakes AVA of New York State. Our member wineries make exceptional cool climate wines, bested only by their beautiful tasting rooms and scenic views. The vibe here is best described as welcoming and relaxing. Look for our member winery signs to sit, sip, and enjoy at wineries who are dedicated to making wines that are Grown Here. Made Here., because Seneca is special. The region specializes in Riesling, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, as well as sparkling wines and ice wines. There are, of course, French-American and Native American varietals found in the region as well. Our member wineries are committed to growing grapes here in the Seneca Lake AVA because they believe in its unique characteristics. That’s why we say our wines are Grown Here. Made Here.
