Take a day trip to enjoy this dynamic environmental education center that celebrates the unique landscape and culture of the Finger Lakes region through hands-on learning opportunities and thoughtful exhibits. Nestled between Canandaigua and Honeoye Lakes, our 900-acre preserve is as beautiful as it is vast. Visitors can explore the Visitors Center, enjoy hands-on family events and gallery exhibits, and hike more than 15 miles of trails through diverse habitats. During spring, summer, and fall, visitors can hike through wetlands, meadows, and upland forests. In winter, we offer 12 miles of groomed cross-country ski trails and 3 miles of snowshoe trails.
