Hill Cumorah Visitors' Center: Learn about the events that occurred on and near the Hill Cumorah in the 1820s & 1830s such as Joseph Smith Jr.'s First Vision, the visits of a heavenly messenger, Moroni, and the translation of the Book of Mormon. Smith Family Farm Tour the Smith Family Farm to learn more about the boyhood of Joseph Smith Jr., the first prophet in modern times and first president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You can see a reconstructed log cabin, the family's second frame home, barn and cooper shop; all historically accurate. The Sacred Grove Retreat to the serene woods near the childhood home of Joseph Smith Jr. where he received a vision of God, the Father, and His Son, Jesus Christ.

Book of Mormon Publication Site: Located in the business district of historic Palmyra, New York, the Book of Mormon Historic Publication Site offers you a glimpse of the printing and binding processes of the 1820s. Peter Whitmer Log Home Tour the home where on April 6, 1830, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was formally organized.
