Aug 16th, 2022

August Concert Brings Celtic Music to Rose Hill

Geneva, N.Y.: This summer, Historic Geneva brings back its free concert series on the lawn at Rose Hill Mansion. For three Sundays, the grounds will be alive with music and fun. Bring a picnic dinner and enjoy an evening of music to end a summer weekend in the Finger Lakes.

The final concert in the series will be Celtic band Doolin O'Dey on Sunday, August 21. The band brings an exciting mix of traditional and original Celtic-inspired music. Doolin O'Dey features Susan Murphy on uilleann pipes, whistles, and piano; Nora Starr on guitar and octave mandolin; Deborah Justice on hammer dulcimer; and Jeff Werner and David Deacon on the fiddle.

The concert is free and open to the public and begins at 5 p.m. The last regular tour of Rose Hill Mansion will run at 3:30 p.m. on concert days. There will be no house tours during the concerts. The Carriage House Gift Shop will be open during the performances. Call 315-789-3848 or visit historicgeneva.org for more information.
