OUR FIRST WINES FROM THE 2021 VINTAGE ARE HERE!
2021 Riesling Pét-Nat
Short for Pétillant Naturel, this fun and fruity sparkling wine was handcrafted from Riesling grapes harvested on our farm during the 2021 growing season. Hints of ripe pink grapefruit, pineapple, and subtle herbs on the nose lead to vibrant notes of lemon curd and starfruit on the palate. The oldest known method of producing sparkling wine, the Méthode Ancestrale used to create our Pét-Nat dates back to at least the 1500s. Fermented in the bottle and unfiltered, this wine has a lower alcohol content (10%) and will contain sediment. Delightfully bubbly, it pairs well with seafood, creamy white sauces, and spicy dishes.
2021 Melody Pét-Nat
Last produced in 2019, this enjoyable sparkler is making a reappearance on our wine list! The Melody grape was released by the Cornell viticulture program in 1985, and is one of only two hybrids planted on our farm. Melody is typically used to make an off-dry to semi-sweet still (non-bubbly) wine, and our sparkling version is a unique and delightful rarity in the Finger Lakes. Creamy notes of buttermilk biscuits, orange zest, and lemongrass on the nose lead to subtle flavors of green tea and candied pineapple. Be sure to add this to your next celebration!
More new wines will be appearing on our shelves over the next few months, including our first sparkling red wine, Cabernet Franc Pét-Nat! Also in the queue for bottling are the 2021 vintages of Blanc de Franc and Rosé. When you see those warm weather favorites appear, you'll know spring is on the way! Our snowshoeing event with the Montezuma Audubon Center is back, and better than ever! This year's event will be hosted entirely outdoors, beginning with a guided wildlife trek through the vineyards. A certified Audubon specialist will accompany us as we explore the wildlife that coexists in our environment. For the second half of the event, we'll head back to our outdoor fire pits, where we'll enjoy wine samples, cheese, and a hearty cup of Bacon BBQ Chili with fresh baked Patisserie bread. Switching it up from our traditional seated presentation, rehabilitation specialists from the Braddock Bay Raptor Research Center will be available for a meet-and-greet with their amazing birds of prey. Snowshoes are available for rent or bring your own. Binoculars are suggested. If there is insufficient snow, the event will become a guided nature hike. Prepaid reservations are required. This event is limited to 20 people, so be sure to book early!

Our popular camping cabins are the perfect place to relax and unwind during your visit to the Finger Lakes. Nestled in the woods behind the tasting room, each cabin is fully equipped with towels and linens, a queen size bed, full bathroom, heat and a/c, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, mini-fridge, and television. Outdoors, you'll have your own firepit and park-style charcoal grill to make the most of those long summer evenings. Camping never looked so good!

Can you think of a better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than with wine, sweets, flowers, and your favorite person? We’d like to introduce you to our newest wine trail event- Sweet Treats for your Sweetheart. Travel along the trail and snack on different decadent treats paired with tasty wines. At each stop, you’ll receive a beautiful rose to take home, along with your sweet treat and wine pairing. At the end of the day, you’ll each take home a souvenir sparkling wine glass.
