Tenwood Lodge is a family-oriented Vacation Home which also offers Bed and Breakfast by the room or suite when the whole home is not rented out. Built from 10 different wood species, we designed Tenwood Lodge with an architect duo to optimize views of our scenic secluded valley,  Located just 12 minutes from downtown Ithaca, NY, we regularly see (deer, wild turkey, rabbits, chipmunks, geese, ducks) and hear (coyote, owls) nearby wildlife.  The distance from light pollution makes stargazing on clear nights an astronomer's delight.

Our primary purpose in builting Tenwood was to gather the family.  We encourage you to bring your family to re-connect to each other for a multi-generational family reunion.  We've recently added a Roku TV and we do have good wifi, but there's plenty of unplugged options also.  We prefer to spend our time together on the porch with a cup of locally roasted coffee in the morning or a Finger Lakes Riesling in the afternoon.  Our firepit is available also for additional relaxation.  Winters are cozy by the woodstove, and some rooms have lovely radiant floors.

When you're ready, we're under 15 minutes from 2 Finger Lakes state parks that are "gorges" and less than 30 minutes from 2 wineries and the lake.
