Mountain Rose Farm

Mountain Rose Farm is 92 acres off a dirt road near Hammondsport, NY. The rolling land consists of woods, new growth, pastures, and a creek perfect for horseback riding and hiking. Situated in the center of the property are the Cottage and the Studio Loft, our comfy vacation rentals listed on AirBnb and VRBO. Harvest Hosts RVers have a flat grassy area to park their campers next to the creek. The original farmhouse, dating back to the 1840s, stages our horseback trail rides with options for beginners up to advanced riders. We also offer horseback riding lessons, wagon rides seasonally, and lead line pony rides for kids at the farm, at local events, or for private birthday parties. We bought the farm in November 2021. That winter and the following spring we cleared out over a hundred dead trees and groomed the grounds. We opened the vacation rentals in June of 2022 and added trail riding that August. We're excited for the coming years and connecting folks with horses, the quiet of farm life, and the beauty of nature.
