Over three decades of great wines and great times! Established in 1985, Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards continues a more than 160-year-long family tradition of award-winning viticulture and wine production. Hazlitt’s internationally renowned wines include Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Cabernet Franc, and Vidal Blanc Ice wine. The winery is home to the world-famous Red Cat, a high-quality sweet red wine that will get your party started! The winery also produces the premium hard cider, Cider Tree.

One of the Top 25 Tasting Rooms in the United States according to the May 2008 issue of the Wine Enthusiast Magazine, the Hazlitt tasting room, including the famous horseshoe bar, provides a relaxing visit for those who enjoy their wine with stories, jokes, and smiles. This casual approach affords visitors an opportunity to spend a little more time learning about wine in an informal atmosphere without intimidation. Lively conversation, fresh popcorn, and a friendly staff await your arrival at our tasting room adorned with antiques and memorabilia from days gone by. Outside, with its picnic tables, sparkling ponds, and rolling horse pastures, the winery property also invites people to enjoy the region’s quiet charm. In addition, guests can visit the outdoor party pavilion, The Oasis; open seasonally for rental, live music and dancing under the stars.  Nine miles north of Watkins Glen, NY.
