Fair Haven Representative Elected to Tourism Board
Owner of Pleasant Beach Hotel to Serve

Cayuga County, NY (April 1, 2008) – Bonnie H. Scoville, co-owner of the Pleasant Beach Hotel in Fair Haven was elected to the Cayuga County Convention and Visitors Bureau (CCCVB) Board of Directors at their April 1, 2008 meeting. Ms. Scoville will complete a 2-year term vacated by Greg Bulkley of Bass Pro Shops which will end in June 2008. At that time, she can be re-elected for three more 2-year terms.

Ms. Scoville and her husband completely renovated the historic Pleasant Beach Hotel situated on Little Sodus Bay and re-opened in 2007. The Pleasant Beach, which offers a friendly, casual atmosphere and great food, now has six hotel rooms, all with private bath. Dock and dine facilities with overnight slips are also available.

Elected directors are selected by the CCCVB Board from those who live in Cayuga County, or are employed in a business or other affiliated organization, engaged in or with a background in tourism in and around Cayuga County. It is intended that these directors reflect a broad geographic representation of the County.

The Cayuga County Convention and Visitors Bureau is the designated Tourism Promotion Agency for Cayuga County and promotes the County’s attractions, events and lodging establishments.
