Director of Wine & Culinary Center to Lead Workshop “Know Your Customer”
Cayuga County, NY (October 29, 2007) – Alexa Gifford, Executive Director of the New York Wine & Culinary Center, will lead a workshop on what visitors to the Finger Lakes want and how area businesses can capitalize on these interests by offering unique products, services and experiences. The workshop, “Know Your Customer,” is sponsored by the Cayuga County Office of Tourism and will be held on Thursday, November 8, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., at the Holiday Inn – Auburn/Finger Lakes.
The New York State Wine and Culinary Center (NYWCC) in Canandaigua is an educational and experiential gateway to New York State's wine, food and culinary industries and is a stunning showcase for exhibitions, classes and eating and drinking experiences. Alexa Gifford, former President of the Finger Lakes Tourism Alliance, leads the team at this $7.5 million facility.
