Brad Clark of Auburn Takes Both Divisions of
Bass Pro Shops Rack Scoring Contest
Auburn (January 23, 2008) – Brad Clark of Auburn won both divisions of the 2008 Bass Pro Shops Racking scoring contest held on January 19-20. Clark took the Gun Division with his whitetail deer rack that scored 156 1/8 points. He also won the Bow Division with another trophy rack that scored in at 143 2/8 points. Racks are scored by official New York Big Buck Club scorers and the points are totaled by total number of allowable inches accumulated. There are also deductions taken off for non-symmetry. An interesting note for the weekend was that of the approximately 50 racks entered, 14 of them scored over 140 points, the minimum score that is needed to make the New York Big Buck Club list.
