The six Yurts at Plum Point Lodge (also known as glamping tents) each offer a plush queen sized bed, comfortable seating, and futon appropriate for an additional guest or two. A flat screen tv, WiFi access (be patient - we're in the country), mini-fridge, gracious private bath with a shower, available EV charging stations and a bonfire each evening certainly take the 'camping' out of glamping at Plum Point Lodge.  

In addition to access to the motel's bar, casual fine dining restaurant (Sapalta), dock and mooring and outdoor swimming pool, guests in our yurts enjoy dedicated outdoor seating, convenient parking and an adjacent stream that provides subtle background noise.  

When first installed, our yurts, which are 20 feet in diameter, were featured in Forbes Magazine as The Best Glamping Sites in the Northeast.  

Please note that as the name implies, glamor camping/glamping is a different experience from staying the night in a traditional hotel or motel room. Ambient noise and climate control (the units have fans but are not air conditioned) may not be what you'd expect, but the overall experience is one that everyone should put on their bucket list!
