Steuben County Farm City Day

The annual Farm-City Day is an entertaining and educational day on a Steuben County dairy farm.  Families can pet baby animals, pick pumpkins, take a wagon ride, walk the corn maze, handmilk a cow, see farm equipment, and play in the corn! Agribusinesses answer questions about farming and how the food is produced. This family event is free and open to the public. More info

Finger Lakes Fiber Arts Festival

Sept. 2009. Hemlock Fairgrounds -30 miles south of Rochester, Rt. 15A Hemlock. A festival devoted to the fiber arts! Handspinning, weaving, knitting, felting, more. Classes, demonstrations, herding dog demos, competitions, exhibits, 80+ vendors selling all manner of spinning fiber, equipment, garments, fiber livestock, more! Family fun! Food!
