In November 2013 the Martins, owners of Montezuma Winery and Hidden Marsh Distillery, (located in Seneca Falls, NY), opened the doors of Idol Ridge Winery. Sitting on a ridge in Lodi, NY, just 20 minutes north of Watkins Glen, the Martin’s have the perfect panoramic view of Seneca Lake to share with you while you enjoy a glass of their award-winning wine.
Home to more than 20 different wines, they guarantee to impress your taste buds with an assortment of dry to sweet as well as sparkling wines. They craft their wines using Native and European Vinifera varieties and premium Cornell Hybrids. Let’s not forget about Alder Creek’s distilled spirits including hand-crafted bourbon and vodka.

YOUR TASTING EXPERIENCE
Our tasting room staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and will make sure that your experience here is warm, welcoming, and educational. Our selection of wines is diverse and continually expanding. We also have a wide selection of handcrafted, distilled spirits from Alder Creek Distillery.
Hours
Our tasting room is open daily from 10am-5pm. Tasting bar closes 15 minutes prior to winery closing We thank you for your understanding and please check back for updates.
Wine Tasting Fee
Standard wine tasting: $10 includes six (1oz) wine samples & a $2 coupon – or – $12 includes six (1 oz) samples, a souvenir wine glass & a $2 coupon off your purchase. Tasting Flights: $15 includes four (2oz) wine samples (or three – 2oz cocktails), a sample of fudge, Cheeky Monkey dipping oil & Chips, and a $2 coupon. Tasting flights can be taken to our indoor/outdoor seating areas.
Spirit Tasting Fee
Standard spirit tastings: $8 includes three (1/4 oz*) samples and a $2 coupon -or- $10 includes three (1/4 oz*) samples, souvenir brandy snifter, & a $2 coupon. Add a spirit to a wine tasting for $2 each (up to 3 samples*) *Please Note: Due to the high percentage of alcohol in spirits, New York State Law limits the amount of spirit tasting to three 1/4 oz samples per person, per day.
